Wind advisory is cancelled for Big Island summits

The National Weather Service in Honolulu has cancelled the wind advisory for the summits of Mauna Loa and Mauna Kea.

The strong winds have diminished overnight and have dropped below the threshold for an an advisory.

A small craft advisory is still in effect for waters South of the Big Island until 6 p.m. Wednesday (June 6).
