Police find 13 year-old Keaau boy reported missing

Big Island Police are searching for a 13-year-old boy reported missing from his Keaʻau home since May 4.

Benson Maddison is described as 4-feet tall, 70 pounds with brown eyes and black hair.

Police ask that anyone with information or his whereabouts call the Police Department’s non-emergency line at 935-3311.

Tipsters who prefer to remain anonymous may call Crime Stoppers at 961-8300 in Hilo or 329-8181 in Kona and may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000. Crime Stoppers is a volunteer program run by ordinary citizens who want to keep our community safe. Crime Stoppers doesn’t record any calls or subscribe to caller ID. All Crime Stoppers information is kept confidential.

Big Island Police have located 13-year-old Benson Maddison of Keaʻau, who was reported missing.

He was found unharmed in Puna on June 2.
