The Lions Club of Kona announced that they awarded scholarships to four graduating seniors from Konawaena High School.

Recipients of the scholarships were:

* Jonney Pha Hodges Scholarship: Kayla Uemura – $1000

* Lions Club of Kona General Scholarships: Trevor Yamagata – $1000 and Kellan Kalani Kadooka – $1000

* Lions Club of Kona Scholarship: Ashley Teshima – $1000
