The state Department of Transportation has announced its plans for roadwork this week, through Friday, March 30. No work was scheduled for Monday, as the state celebrated Prince Kuhio Day.

Lane closure schedules may change at any time without further notice. All projects are weather permitting.

— AKONI PULE HIGHWAY —

1) MAHUKONA

Alternating single lane closures on Akoni Pule Highway in both directions between Milepost Markers 8 and 10, in the vicinity of Makukona Beach Park, 8:30 a.m.-3 p.m. Tuesday, March 27, through Friday, March 30 for pavement reconstruction.

— HAWAII BELT ROAD —

1) LAUPAHOEHOE

Intermittent single lane closures on Hawaii Belt Road in both directions between Old Mamalahoa Highway and Niupea Homestead Road 8 a.m.-3 p.m. Tuesday, March 27, through Friday, March 30 for slope stabilization.

— VOLCANO ROAD —

1) MOUNTAIN VIEW

Alternating single lane closures on Volcano Road in both directions between Kukui Camp Road and North Lauko Road 8 a.m.-3 p.m. Tuesday, March 27, through Friday, March 30 for pavement resurfacing.
