Input sought for Waimea principal recruitment

As a follow up to recent meetings with Waimea Middle School’s families and community, the public conversion charter school’s not-for-profit Local School Board Hookakoo Corp. is seeking input from families and the community to assist in assessing the competencies and qualifications of candidates for leadership of Waimea Middle School.

This input will be a critical component of the search process for the school’s next principal.

“Our commitment is to seek the best balance between work experiences, education and preparation, personal qualities, role expectations of the principal, and the ability to respond to the community’s educational needs and aspirations. We would appreciate your feedback on these attributes as well,” Hookakoo Corp. Executive Director Megan McCorriston said.

All input is anonymous and confidential.
