The National Weather Service in Honolulu has issued a High Surf Advisory for the Kona coast until 6 p.m. Sunday (Jan 29).
Surf is forecast to be eight to 12 feet in height and expected to gradually lower on Sunday.
Beachgoers should use caution when in and near the ocean.
