PTA suspends access for hunters due to live-fire training

MEDIA RELEASE

POHAKULOA TRAINING AREA – Hunting activities at Pohakuloa Training Area will be closed indefinitely due to military live-fire training exercises. This closure is effective Jan. 7 until further notice.

Hunter’s are encouraged to plan alternate hunting activities on Hawaii island during the closures.
