Wind advisory for Big Island summits extended to midnight Wednesday

The National Weather Service in Honolulu has extended the Wind Advisory for the summits of Mauna Loa and Mauna Kea until midnight Wednesday (Dec 28).

Wins are forecast to come from the Northeast at 25-45 mph with gusts up to 50 mph. The gusty winds will making driving difficult for those with tall vehicles.
