Kings’ Shops debuts ‘Festival of Lights’

Holiday cheer is abound at the Kings’ Shops in 2011. Eight great new retailers have been added including Martin and MacArthur’s new flagship store and the exciting Eddie Aikau Restaurant and Surf Museum. Other new store openings include Kona Brothers Coffee, Eight Rocks, Flip Flop Workshop, Mary Jane’s, Da Big Bags and Go Green Tea Hawaii.

In addition to a great lineup of free weekly live entertainment by John Keawe, Kunia Galderia and Kahulanui, this holiday season Kings’ Shops is proud to debut Festival of Lights, a pageant of 10,000 dancing lights set to holiday tunes.

The show starts at 7 p.m., 8 p.m. and 9 p.m. nightly through Dec. 31.

“The Kings’ Shops welcomes the community and visitors alike to celebrate the holidays with us. We hope the Festival of Lights will put a smile on people’s faces and get everyone into the holiday spirit,” said General Manager Greg Kawakami.

Kings’ Shops is located at 250 Waikoloa Beach Drive in the Waikoloa Beach Resort. Stores include Baron & Leeds, Coach, Louis Vuitton, Macy’s, Maui Divers, Tiffany & Co., The Walking Company, Tommy Bahama, Walking in Paradise.

The center also provides exceptional regional dining with Roy’s Waikoloa Bar & Grill, Merriman’s Market Café, Eddie Aikau Restaurant and Surf Museum and Island Fish & Chips. Center hours are 9:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. daily.
