Fire/rescue crews responded to a 3:32 a.m. alarm Wednesday (Dec 21) to Moano Street in Eden Roc subdivision for a structure fire.

Firefighters found a makeshift trailer home on a construction site collapsed and engulfed in flames. Crews immediately had the fire under control and later turned the scene over to police.

The loss of the 9 foot by 14 foot trailer home is estimated to be $1,400. There were no injuries reported and the cause of the blaze is under investigation.
