Both lanes on Palani Road approximately 2,000 feet of roadway between Kamakaeha Avenue to Henry Street will be closed 2-6 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 17.

HELCO is removing utility lines on the north side in preparation to widen the road.

Access from Queen Kaahumanu Highway to the fire station will remain open. No left turns onto Kamakaeha from Palani will be allowed. The intersection at Henry Street and Palani Rd will remain open.

Motorists are asked to use Henry Street as the alternate route to Palani Road and Hawaii Belt Road during the road closure.

Nan Construction Inc., will resurface the mauka bound lane on Palani from Queen Kaahumanu Highway intersection to Henry Street the week of Dec, 12-19.

Special off-duty officers will redirect traffic during the one-lane closures.
