The National Weather Service in Honolulu has issued a High Surf Advisory for West facing shores of the Big Island from 6 p.m. this evening until 6 p.m. Saturday (Dec 10).
Surf is forecast to be in the six to eight foot range. Swimmers and beachgoers should be wary of rip currents and beach erosion.
A small craft advisory is in effect until 6 p.m. Saturday for all Hawaiian waters except for Maui County leeward waters.
