Hawaii Electric Light Company reports power was restored Sunday night to about 2,000 North Kohala customers.
Power was interrupted shortly after 8 p.m. to allow HELCO crews to safely make repairs to the transmission line along Kohala Mountain Road.
Power was restored to all customers by 11:15 p.m., HELCO reported.
HELCO did not report whether the high winds in the area caused the problem.
