The Mauna Lani Bay Hotel & Bungalows has named Ryan Fitzgerald as its hotel manager.

Leading the day-to-day operations and management of the hotel, Fitzgerald returns to Mauna Lani Bay most recently from the Kahala Hotel & Resort on Oahu where he was director of rooms overseeing the front office, spa, retail and reservation departments.

Prior to this, Fitzgerald served in the same capacity at Mauna Lani Bay after he relocated to Hawaii from the Beverly Wilshire Hotel in Beverly Hills (a Four Seasons property) where he last held the position of guest services manager.

“We are excited to welcome Ryan back into the Mauna Lani Bay ohana,” says Robert Grant, acting general manager of The Mauna Lani Bay Hotel & Bungalows.

“Ryan’s positive energy and passion for our hotel rubs off on everyone he comes into contact with,” Grant said. “His strong leadership and operational experience, matched with his impeccable attention-to-detail and focus on delivering outstanding customer service, will ensure Mauna Lani Bay continues to prominently place in the ‘world’s best’ lists under his direction.”

Fitzgerald studied business management at the University of Nevada Las Vegas. Fitzgerald resides in Waikoloa with his wife Michi and two daughters, Rylie and Cailyn. He enjoys surfing, golf, and running.
