Police find Hilo man Ahuna reported missing

Big Island police are searching for a 27-year-old Hilo man who was reported missing.

Kalani Ahuna was last seen at 9:14 p.m. Wednesday (November 16) in the Keaukaha area.

He is described as part Hawaiian, 5-foot-7, 170 pounds with a brown “buzz” haircut, brown eyes and a fair complexion.

He was last seen wearing slippers and blue-and-white surf shorts.

Police ask that anyone with information on his whereabouts call the Police Department’s non-emergency line at 935-3311. Tipsters who prefer to remain anonymous may call Crime Stoppers at 961-8300 in Hilo or 329-8181 in Kona and may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000. Crime Stoppers is a volunteer program run by ordinary citizens who want to keep their community safe. Crime Stoppers doesn’t record calls or subscribe to caller ID. Big Island police have located 27-year-old Kalani Ahuna, who was reported missing. He was found in Hilo on Thursday morning (November 17).
