Waiakea’s Kellie Iwasaki outscored the field to take the girls’ state air riflery title Tuesday in Honolulu.
The Waiakea girls team was runner-up in the state, with Megan Kimura of Waiakea and Caryn Okamoto of Hilo also in the top 10 individuals.
The Waiakea boys team took third place, with Abraham Sylvester placing fourth and Eric Kawahara placing fifth in the individual scoring.
Also, Waiakea’s Tyler Aburamen finished ninth overall.
In 2011 HHSAA/Civilian Marksmanship Program Air Riflery championships Tuesday at the Blaisdell Center Exhibition Hall, Punahou took home championship titles with score of 2,074 and 2,093 respectively.
