Alternating lane shifts on Kuakini Highway (Route 11) in both directions between Mileposts 116 and 117 in the vicinity of Kamehameha III Road on Monday, October 24, through Friday, October 28, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., for roadway embankment work.

— MAMALAHOA HIGHWAY (ROUTE 190) —

1) MAKALEI
Alternating lane closures on Mamalahoa Highway (Route 190), in both directions between Mileposts 27 and 31 north of Old Kona Village Road on Monday, October 24, through Friday, October 28, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., daily, for guardrail installations and paving.

2) WAIKOLOA
Alternating lane closures on Mamalahoa Highway (Route 190) in both directions between Mileposts 13 and 15 south of Waikoloa Road on Monday, October 24, through Friday, October 28, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., daily, for guardrail installations.

— HAWAII BELT ROAD (ROUTE 19) —

1) MAULUA GULCH
Alternating single lane closures on Hawaii Belt Road (Route 19) in both directions at Milepost 21.7 in the vicinity of Maulua Gulch on Monday, October 24, through Friday, October 28, From 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., daily, for slope stabilization work.

2) LAUPAHOEHOE GULCH
Alternating single lane closures on Hawaii Belt Road (Route 19) in both directions between Laupahoehoe Point Road and Laupahoehoe Gulch (also known as the “Second Horseshoe”) near Milepost 26.1 on Monday, October 24, through Friday, October 28, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., daily, for slope stabilization work.

3) KAWAILII BRIDGE
Alternating single lane closures on Hawaii Belt Road (Route 19) in both directions at Milepost 35.4, in the vicinity of Kawailii Bridge, on Monday, October 24, through Friday, October 28, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., daily, for pavement resurfacing.

— QUEEN KAAHUMANU HIGHWAY (ROUTE 19) —

1) KIHOLO BAY
Alternating single lane shifts on Queen Kaahumanu Highway (Route 19) in both directions in the vicinity of Milepost 82 on Monday, October 24, through Friday, October 28, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., daily, for pavement resurfacing.

3) KAWAILII BRIDGE
Alternating single lane closures on Hawaii Belt Road (Route 19) in both directions in the vicinity of Kawailii Bridge, near Mile Post 35.4, on Monday, October 17, through Friday, October 21, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., daily, for pavement resurfacing.

— QUEEN KAAHUMANU HIGHWAY (ROUTE 19) —

1) KIHOLO BAY
Alternating single lane shifts on Queen Kaahumanu Highway (Route 19) in both directions in the vicinity of Mile Post 82 on Monday, October 17, through Friday, October 21, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., daily, for pavement resurfacing.

Mamalahoa Highway in Waimea

Reconstruction of a curb ramp along Mamālahoa Highway in Waimea begins Monday, October 24. Estimated completion is Friday, October 28.

The 24 hour one- lane closure affects eastbound travel from Pukalani intersection to 50-feet beyond North Hawaii Community Hospital.

The hospital entrance will remain open, and a pedestrian pathway provided around the work site. Ace Hardware customers are asked to use Pukalani Street to access the store.

Goodfellow Bros. Inc. is the contractor. Their work schedule is between the hours of 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
