This month’s topic will be ocean acidification presented by Dr. Paul Jokiel.

Jokiel is a full time researcher at the University of Hawaii at Manoa and has been conducting research on coral reef ecology at the Hawaii Institute of Marine Biology since 1969. The presentation will focus on ocean acidification within the context of climate change.

Jokiel will be discussing the issue, causes and effects as well as possible solutions.
