The National Weather Service in Honolulu has issued a High Surf Advisory starting 6 a.m. Friday morning (Sept 9) until 6 p.m. Saturday for rising surf along South facing shores of all Hawaiian Islands.
A South swell is building with surf forecast in the six to eight foot range along South facing shores. Beachgoers should use caution due to dangerous rip currents caused by the surf.
