General Manager and Regional Vice President, Hawaii Christof Luedi is pleased to announce the appointment of Cerelle Gooding to the position of director of group sales at the AAA Four Diamond luxury resort.

Prior to joining The Fairmont Orchid, Gooding spent six years as director of West Coast sales for the Hotel Del Coronado, overseeing California, Washington, Oregon, Nevada, Arizona and New Mexico as her territory.
Gooding also worked at the Catamaran Resorts as senior sales Manager, handling the association market.
Gooding received her Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Management with Honors. She has a passion for the hospitality industry, including cultivating purposeful business relationships, mentorships, consulting and marketing.
Gooding, her husband and her son are already enjoying their time in the islands. “I have moved over 20 times in my life, and this is by far our favorite move yet,†she said.
As the hotel’s director of group sales, Gooding will oversee a seven-person sales team as well as her own territories of Washington, Oregon, Nevada, Idaho, Utah, Wyoming, Montana, Alaska and Colorado.
