1) VICINITY OF LAUPAHOEHOE GULCH
Alternating single lane closures on Hawaii Belt Road (Route 19) in both directions from Laupahoehoe Point Road to Laupahoehoe Gulch, also known as the “Second Horseshoe,†near Milepost 26.1, on Monday, August 8, through Friday, August 12, from
8 a.m. to 3 p.m., daily, for slope stabilization work.
— MAMALAHOA HIGHWAY (ROUTE 190) —
1) VICINITY OF MAKALEI
Alternating lane closures on Mamalahoa Highway (Route 190) in both directions near Mileposts 27 and 31 in the vicinity of Makalei on Monday, August 8, through Friday,
August 12, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., daily, for slope stabilization work.
2) VICINITY OF WAIKOLOA (CONTINUOUS)
A fulltime (24/7) lane closure on Mamalahoa Highway (Route 190) in the southbound (Kona-bound) direction near Milepost 14 from May 31, through Thursday, August 18, for wall construction and guardrail installations. A temporary traffic signal is employed to control traffic through this work area.
— MAMALAHOA HIGHWAY (ROUTE 11) —
1) VICINITY OF KAHUKU
Alternating lane closures on Mamalahoa Highway (Route 11) in both directions between Mileposts 69 and 72 in the vicinity of South Point Road on Monday, August 8, through Friday, August 12, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., daily, for pavement resurfacing and guardrail installations.
