By Hawaii 24/7 Staff

The National Weather Service in Honolulu has continued the High Surf Advisory for the Big Island’s North, South and East shores facing south until 6 p.m. Saturday (July 9). Two large Southern Hemisphere swells will produce high surf along exposed South facing shores over the next several days.

A Small Craft Advisory remain in effect until 6 p.m. Saturday (July 9) for Kaiwi Channel, Maalaea Bay, Pailolo Channel, Alehuihaha Channel, Big Island Leeward waters and Big Island Southeast waters.
