Big Island lane closures for the week of July 5-9, 2011

— HAWAII BELT ROAD (ROUTE 19) —

1) VICINITY OF LAUPAHOEHOE GULCH
Alternating single lane closures on Hawaii Belt Road (Route 19) in both directions from Laupahoehoe Point Road to Laupahoehoe Gulch, also known as the Second Horseshoe, near Milepost Marker 26.1, on Tuesday, July 5, through Friday, July 8, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., daily for slope stabilization work.

— MAMALAHOA HIGHWAY (ROUTE 190) —

1) VICINITY OF MAKALEI
Alternating lane closures on Mamalahoa Highway (Route 190) in both directions near Milepost Markers 27 and 31 for worksite in the vicinity of Makalei on Tuesday, July 5, through Friday, July 8, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., daily, for slope stabilization work.

2) VICINITY OF WAIKOLOA
There is a fulltime, 24 hours per day/seven days per week, lane closure on Mamalahoa Highway (Route 190) in the southbound (Kona-bound) direction near Milepost Marker 14, from Tuesday, May 31, through Friday, July 15, for construction of a concrete rubble masonry rock wall and guardrail installation. A temporary traffic signal is employed to control traffic through this work area.

— MAMALAHOA HIGHWAY (ROUTE 11) —

1) VICINITY OF KAHUKU
Alternating lane closures on Mamalahoa Highway (Route 11) in both directions between Milepost Markers 73 and 72 in the vicinity of South Point Road on Tuesday, July 5, through Friday, July 8, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., daily, for roadway paving work and guardrail installation.
