The Kona Marathon is a Boston Marathon qualifier.

Course and Race Information
An estimated 1,800 runners of all ages and abilities will be competing for prize money, participating for health and enjoyment, and raising money for charity.

Start and Finish at the Keauhou Beach Resort just south of Kailua-Kona on the Big Island of Hawaii.

Entry Fees
After June 1, 2011: Marathon – $95 | ½ Marathon ‑ $85 | 10K ‑ $50 | 5K – $35
Fees are non-refundable.

$200 awarded to the first place Marathon male and female
$100 awarded to the second place Marathon male and female
$75 awarded to the third place Marathon male and female

$200 Bonus! for the first man to break the standing men’s Marathon course record!
$200 Bonus! for the first woman to break the standing women’s Marathon course record!
$100 Bonus! to the first Male and Female Big Island Marathon Finisher!

Information Booth: Course maps, standing records and past results will be on display starting at 10:00am at the Keauhou Beach Resort in the registration and packet pick-up area.

Late Entry Deadline: Entries must be postmarked by this date to avoid the additional late entry fee of another $10 (total $20) for the Marathon and Half Marathon, $5 (total $10) for the 10K/5K.

Registration: Registration and packet pick-up for the marathon, half-marathon, 10K, and 5K will be from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm at the Keauhou Beach Resort.
