The Hawaii Wildlife Center is giving a big ‘mahalo nui loa’ to six U.S. Marines for their hard-work, expertise and dedication.

On June 15, they volunteer their services in moving and placing large and heavy stone slabs for three seating benches in the native plant garden.

The Marines are members of Marine Wing Support Squadron 171 at Marine Corps Air Station, Iwakuni, Japan, and have been training at the Pohakuloa Training Area on the Big Island since May 30.

Ryan Associates donated the stone benches.
