The National Weather Service in Honolulu has issued a High Surf Advisory for South facing shores of all islands along with North and East shores of the Big Island until 6 p.m. Tuesday due to a second low pressure system Southeast of New Zealand last week.
Surf is forecast to be in the six to eight foot range.
A High Surf Advisory means that strong rip currents could occur along with high surf impacting beaches, small channel entrances and harbors. Swimmers, surfers and boaters should use caution.
