Big Island lane closures for the week of June 6-10

PLEASE NOTE:
Lane closure schedules may change at any time without further notice. All projects are weather permitting.

— HAWAII BELT ROAD (ROUTE 19) —

1) VICINITY OF LAUPAHOEHOE GULCH
Alternating single lane closures on Hawaii Belt Road (Route 19) in both directions from Laupahoehoe Point Road to Laupahoehoe Gulch, also known as the Second Horseshoe, near Milepost Marker 26.1, on Monday, June 6, through Thursday, June 9, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., daily for slope stabilization work.

— MAMALAHOA HIGHWAY (ROUTE 190) —

1) VICINITY OF MAKALEI
Alternating lane closures on Mamalahoa Highway (Route 190) in both directions near Milepost Markers 27 and 31 for worksite in the vicinity of Makalei on Monday, June 6, through Thursday, June 9, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., daily, for slope stabilization work.

2) VICINITY OF WAIKOLOA
There will be a continuous, 24 hours per day/seven days per week, closure of the southbound (Kona-bound) lane on Mamalahoa Highway (Route 190) near Milepost Marker 14, on Monday, June 6, through Thursday, June 9, for construction of a concrete rubble masonry rock wall and the installation of a guardrail. Traffic will be contraflowed, and a temporary traffic signal will be installed to control traffic through this work area.

— MAMALAHOA HIGHWAY (ROUTE 11) —

1) VICINITY OF KAHUKU
Alternating lane closures on Mamalahoa Highway (Route 11) in both directions between Milepost Markers 73 and 72 in the vicinity of South Point Road on Monday, June 6, through Thursday, June 9, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., daily, for roadway paving work.

2) VICINITY OF KAAPUNA
Alternating lane closures on Mamalahoa Highway (Route 11) in both directions between Milepost Markers 96 and 92, from Kaapuna to Kaohe, on Monday, June 6, through Thursday, June 9, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., daily, for pavement repair work.
