Parker honors seniors at ‘Ohana Night’

MEDIA RELEASE

Parker School seniors and their families gathered for one final time during Ohana Night on the eve of graduation.

The group reflected and celebrated their high school accomplishments.

The Senior Awards were announced and the following students were honored.

* Annie Sturges, received the Parker School Trustees’ Award, which is presented to the senior who has given superior service to the school and or the community and best exemplified the spirit of the Parker School Vision.

* Daniel Gregg, received the Headmaster’s Award, which is presented to the senior who has clearly given 100 percent effort 100 percent of the time, and has left the school a better place than the one he/she entered.

* Edward “Kimo” Hon, received the Richard Smart Award for Academic Excellence, which is presented to the student who has maintained a record of academic excellence.

* Elisha Chun, received the Personal Achievement Award, which is given to the senior who has shown exceptional personal growth during his or her senior year.

* Lastly, the Longevity Award was presented to the senior or seniors who have been enrolled the longest at Parker School. The class of 2011 had six recipients: Daniel Gregg, Edward “Kimo” Hon, McCrae Johnston, Evan Nielsen, Mailani Sills and Annie Sturges.
