The 10th Annual AstroDay celebrated astronomy, Hawaiian culture and music at the Prince Kuhio Plaza Saturday (May 7).

The annual event is run by director Gary Fujihara, with the University of Hawaii Institute for Astronomy and provided a good alternative on a rainy Hilo day.

Crowds were given a chance to explore exhibits, work on craft projects, drive mini underwater robots, learn about astronomy and listen to some great music by Diana Aki, Brittni Paiva, Keoki Kahumoku and Russell Mauga.
