The National Weather Service in Honolulu has issued a flash flood watch for the Big Island through this afternoon.
A high surf advisory is in effect for North and East Hawaii shores through 6 p.m. Friday (April 8).
A winter storm warning until 6 p.m. Friday (April 8) for Big Island summits along with a wind advisory.
A small craft advisory is in effect until 6 a.m. Saturday (April 9) for all Big Island coastal waters and the Alehuihaha Channel.
