A free presentation covering the Fukushima Nuclear Accident is scheduled for 5 p.m. Friday, March 25 at the NELHA Gateway Center.

John Deveau, with 34 years of Nuclear Energy experience, will review the sequence of events that resulted in fuel damage to the Reactors and the Spent Fuel Pools. Deveau will use some simplified drawings to show a cut away of the reactors and review the most probable scenario that followed the earthquake.

Some discussion on radiation levels/effects around the nuclear plants will be discussed.

As always, audience questions will be encouraged.
