During Monday night’s heavy rains, a tree knocked down power lines affecting 2,925 customers in the Hamakua and Pepeekeo areas at 7:53 p.m.

Power was restored to all but 20 customers by 8:52 p.m. Power to all customers was restored by 10 p.m.

Management crews worked through the night to make the repairs. All work was completed by 11 a.m. Tuesday.
