MEDIA RELEASE

Replacement of 15 curb ramps, 2,165 linear feet of sidewalks, and driveways to comply with Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) along Mamalahoa Highway in Waimea begins mid-March.

The project is scheduled for completion in mid-July.

Reconstruction is along both sides of Mamalahoa Highway beginning from Waimea Schools to Waimea Civic Center and from the Chevron Gas Station to Waimea Center.

The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) provided funds for the $696,000 project awarded to Goodfellow Bros Inc.
