The National Weather Service has extended the Flash Flood Watch for Hawaii Island today through Friday, February 25th.

The National Weather Service forecasts heavier than normal rainfall island wide for this period along with a slight chance of thunderstorms.

All island residents are asked to be prepared for the possibility of heavy rain today through Friday. If thunderstorms affect your area you are advised to stay indoors and unplug all electronic devices.
