This is a weather update for Tuesday February 22nd
The National Weather Service has issued a flash flood watch for Hawai’i Island effective today through tomorrow evening Wednesday, Feb. 23rd.
A flash flood watch means that conditions may develop that lead to flash flooding.
As always during a flash flood watch the following are issued.
All residents in flood prone areas are asked to be on the alert for possible flooding conditions.
All motorists are asked to drive with caution and be on the alert for debris, runoff and ponding of water. Be aware that road closures and slowdowns can occur without any warning.
