Hawaii Energy offers workshops (Feb. 24)

Hawaii Energy is offering information update workshops for Hawaii Island business owners, mechanical contractors, electrical contractors, engineers, architects, vendors, and property managers this month in Kona and Hilo.

The workshops will include information on Hawaii Energy programs and on the Central Plant Optimization Competition, which assists building managers with investigating ways to improve the operation and maintenance of their facilities.

Details about the Light up the Savings program for small businesses will also be discussed.

Attendees will have the opportunity to provide feedback and present updates on projects that may need assistance from Hawaii Energy as well as to network with other energy efficiency professionals. Refreshments will be provided.

The Kailua-Kona workshop will be 2–3 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 24, at the Natural Energy Laboratory of Hawaii (NELHA). RSVP by Friday, Feb. 18, to Hawaii Energy, (808) 521-0077 or hawaiienergy@saic.com.

The Hilo workshop will be 2–3 p.m. Friday, Feb. 25, at the University of Hawaii-Hilo, Campus Center 301. RSVP by Friday, Feb. 18, to Hawaii Energy.

Hawaii Energy is a ratepayer-funded conservation and efficiency program administered by R. W. BECK (an SAIC Company) under contract with the Hawaii Public Utilities Commission serving the islands of Hawaii, Lanai, Maui, Molokai, and Oahu.
