The Ninth Annual Hilo Chinese New Year Festival was celebrated Saturday (Feb 12) in downtown Hilo as the community welcomed the Year of the Rabbit. The festival began in the morning as the Lion Dancers made their way through the various shops in downtown Hilo as firecrackers marked the occassion at Kalakaua Park
