Firefighters responded to a 8:01 p.m. alarm Friday (Feb 11) to a structure fire at 15-733 North Puni Mauka Loop in Puna.

Fire crews found smoke coming out of a 20-foot by 20-foot wooden storage shed. Firefighters were able to use extinguish the smoldering paper and clothing material burning inside the shed.

The estimated loss in the fire was $500, there were no injuries reported. The fire was reported out at 8:25 p.m. with crews back in their quarters by 9:12 p.m. The cause of the fire is unknown.
