Six Big Island teams are on Oahu for the girls soccer state tournament.
Division I includes No. 4 seed Hilo Vikings and Kealakehe Waveriders. In Division II, it’s No. 1 seed HPA Ka Makani, Honokaa Dragons, Kamehameha Warriors, Makua Lani Lions.
In first round action Wednesday, Kealakehe went down to Pearl City, 2-0, but still can earn seventh in state.
Also Wednesday, Makua Lani topped Waipahu 4-2 and faces top seed HPA on Thursday.
Kamehameha Schools Hawaii ousted St. Anthony 2-0 and will play No. 2 Leilehua on Thursday, while Honokaa’s 3-0 win over Radford earned them a shot against No. 3 Kauai.
All games are being played at the Waipio Peninsula Soccer Complex on Oahu.
On TV, OC16 will have live coverage of the semifinal matches at 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 11
The championship games for Division I and Division II will be broadcast live at 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 12.
