Waimea Councilman Pete Hoffmann is at an Oahu hospital after reportedly suffering a mild heart attack.

Hoffmann was transported via air ambulance Monday afternoon and is undergoing tests.

The councilman is expected to return soon to the Big Island.

Hoffmann was reported in stable condition late Tuesday afternoon.

Pete Hoffmann’s office reports as of Wednesday morning (Jan 19) the councilman is still in Honolulu at the hospital. Hoffmann is stable and in good spirits.
