Fire crews responding to a 4:44 a.m. alarm Wednesday (Jan 12) found the sign on the roof of the Keaau McDonald’s engulfed in flames.

Units were able to extinguish the blaze in less than 15 minutes. The damage was reported to be an estimated $25,000.

The cause of the fire was reported to be a possible electrical shortage.
