University of Hawai‘i at Hilo Baseball Head Coach Joey Estrella will headline the first 2011 Vulcan Athletic Club Luncheon at noon on Tuesday, January 11 in the Naniloa Volcanoes Resort Poly Room.

Lunches are $16 for a plated entrée and $12 for a soup and sandwich special. Call 974-7520 for luncheon reservations.

Estrella and two baseball players will discuss the upcoming season and the highly-competitive Pac West Conference followed by a question and answer period.

The annual Alumni game is set for 1 p.m. on Saturday, February 5 on the UH Hilo field. Opening day is Monday, February 14 against Patten University (CA).

The main objective of the VAC is to provide financial, scholarship and service support to the UH Hilo Department of Intercollegiate Athletics and is organized under the University of Hawaii Foundation.
