The National Weather Service has reported that thunderstorms threatening the Big Island have ended. The flash flood advisory has been cancelled.

The National Weather Service forecasts a new north swell likely to arrive on Christmas Day (Dec 25). This should increase surf heights above the high surf advisory thresholds along north and east facing shores of most islands. This swell is expected to gradually lower from Sunday into Monday.
