Sunday’s Child Foundation Christmas event (Dec. 18)

MEDIA RELEASE

On Saturday, Dec. 18, Sunday’s Child Foundation is hosting a Christmas Party for at-risk youth and children in foster care ages 5 to 17 at Hokukano Bayhouse on Keauhou Bay in Kona.

They will be giving a lavish feast, toys and gifts and water-sport activities from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. Sunday’s Child Foundation is asking for the community’s help in providing gifts for our keiki.

If you would like to help, please drop off an unwrapped toy or gift at the Kona Tiki Hotel in Kona or Dr. John Stover’s office in Waimea.

Your donation is appreciated and will help to bring joy to some 50 under-privileged children on our island.

Sunday’s Child Foundation thrives on providing at-risk youth education and healing through experiential mentorship programs and Hawaiian cultural activities that will be remembered for a lifetime.

Sunday’s Child Foundation’s goal is to provide healing through education and mentorship. Through their programs, kids and young men and women can bond and support one another in healthy surroundings and may enjoy the great abundance of wealth in culture, history and nature our beautiful island has to offer.
