The National Weather Service has issued a Flash Flood Watch for all Hawaiian Islands through late Sunday (Dec 19). A flash flood watch means that weather conditions may develop that leads to flash flooding.

The National Weather Service is forecasting rain to move northeast over Kauai and the Big Island tonight (Dec 18) then across the rest of the state through Sunday night.

There is a slight chance of light snow and rain showers on the summits of Mauna Loa and Mauna Kea this evening with the possibility of snow accumulation up to three inches on the summits Sunday night.
