Usher publishes book about ‘100 goals’

MEDIA RELEASE

Ian Usher, the Australian man who put his whole life up for sale on internet auction website eBay in June 2008, and then went on an incredible two-year journey, armed with a list of 100 lifetime goals, and a self imposed timeframe of 100 weeks, has now published a book about the whole incredible adventure.

And he is publicizing the book with a monster A LIFE SOLD “What is your #1 goal?” $100,000 prize draw.

After the eBay auction, Usher embarked upon a two-year adventure, and tackled an extraordinary list of challenges.

Goals on Usher’s list of 100 included high-adrenaline adventures, such as running with the bulls in Pamplona in Spain, diving with sharks in Japan and South Africa, flying a jet fighter plane and riding a motorcycle on a “Wall of Death.”

Usher also worked in a soup kitchen on Christmas day in Canada, and raised funds for cancer research. He also trekked to Everest Base Camp, walked on the Great Wall of China, partied at Carnival in Rio, and saw the Taj Mahal.

The book is called “A Life Sold – What ever happened to that guy who sold his whole life on eBay?”, and is available at Amazon sites around the world, and at other online retailers.

To promote the book Usher is also running a $100,000 prize draw. Entry is open to all, and the only requirement is to take a photo of yourself with the “A Life Sold” book cover, which can be freely downloaded from Usher’s website.

Usher is also currently under contract to Walt Disney Pictures, which bought the movie rights to his story.
