Water shut-off in Waiakea for line work Wednesday (Dec 15)

WATER SHUT OFF NOTICE

AREA AFFECTED: ALL SERVICES ALONG WEST KAWAILANI STREET, KUPULAU PLACE AND KUPULAU ROAD, FROM THE PŪHAU STREET AND WEST KAWAILANI STREET INTERSECTION TO KOANIANI STREET; INCLUDES ALL SERVICES ALONG PŪHAU STREET, PŪHAU PLACE, KIHONUA PLACE, MAKANI STREET, MAKANI PLACE, MAKANI CIRCLE, PU‘UALE PLACE, KENEKI PLACE, KAHALANI STREET, AND ALL CONNECTING SIDE ROADS IN WAIĀKEA, SOUTH HILO, HAWAI‘I

Water will be temporarily turned off in the above-mentioned area on Wednesday, December 15, 2010, between the hours of 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. to do waterline work for the Kupulau Heights Subdivision Project.

Upon the resumption of water service, the waterlines will be flushed and cleaned, during which time you may notice turbid and/or discolored water.

You may also notice trapped air in your plumbing, which will be released as you initially use water.

Please pardon this temporary inconvenience. If more information is needed, please call Mr. Carl Nishimura at 961-8790.
