Abercrombie, Schatz celebrating on island (Dec. 12-13)

MEDIA RELEASE

Gov. Neil Abercrombie and Lt. Gov. Brian Schatz will be on the Big Island for confirmation ceremonies as a part of their inaugural events and pledge to include all islands in an Abercrombie/Schatz Administration.

The theme of the celebrations is “E Hoomalu O Hawaii,” which means “To Protect Hawaii.”

Ka‘u: 10 a.m.-noon Sunday, Dec. 12, Pahala Plantation House

Waimea: 4-6 p.m., Monday, Dec. 13, Kuhio Hale (Hawaiian Homes Hall)

    I hope we can meet while you are here over today and tomorrow. You are too far Ka’u Sunday, but for Monday, connection is somewhat
