‘Coffee Talk’ at Yano Hall (Dec. 1)

The Kona Coffee Farmers Association will hold its monthly Coffee Talk, 3:30-5 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 1 at Yano Hall, in Captain Cook.

Colehour and Melanie Bondera will give an exciting PowerPoint Presentation and discuss the imortance of the Reggiano-Parmigiano Prize that was awarded to Kona Coffee in late October. The prize is awarded for the historical integrity of a product and given only once every two years to a worthy recipient, this time for 100% Kona Coffee!

The Bonderas will also discuss the value of pursuing a PDO, (Protected Designation of Origin), which as a result of the Reggiano Parmigiano Prize, the KCFA intends to do.
