Kona Community Hospital is hosting a community presentation titled, “Diabetes: Prevention of the Disease and Its Complications.”

It is scheduled for 5-7 p.m. Monday, Nov. 29 at Kona Community Hospital’s Conference Room 2. The program will begin at 5:30 p.m.

An expert panel will cover topics such as diet and nutrition, physical activity, eye and foot care, home health, and more. Supporters of the event include Clinical Laboratories of Hawaii LLP and Novo Nordisk.

The dinner presentation is free and open to the entire community. Free glucose screenings and information booths will be available.
